I was horrified to learn that mice and rats are forced to breathe cigarette smoke for hours a day for years on end in cruel tests that are not required by law and for which alternative methods exist. I strongly urge the FDA to ban cigarette tests on animals and require that tobacco companies switch to more effective and humane alternatives.
