Anyone that knows Silverstein knows how much they ♥ animals. These Canadian screamo veterans have taken time out of their globe-trotting tours to fight the good fight for animals in every way possible. Whether they're participating in a veggie testimonial or speaking out against animal testing and wearing fur, Silverstein's passion for music is most definitely matched by their passion for animal rights.
Here at peta2, we couldn't be more excited about their new album, "Rescue," which is set to drop on April 26! Being the animal lovers that they are, Silverstein has decided to use their aptly named album title to draw attention to the importance of always adopting, and never buying, animals.
Each year, about 6 to 8 million dogs and cats are taken to animal shelters in the U.S.—and nearly half of them must be euthanized because of a lack of good homes. You can help!

I want to help put an end to animal homelessness. By signing my name, I pledge to support and practice animal birth control by always having my animal companions spayed or neutered, educating others about the importance of spaying and neutering, and never buying animals from breeders or pet stores.
