Zoe Rosenberg

Zoe Rosenberg founded an animal sanctuary when she was just 11 years old. So far, it has saved over 600 animals from the food industry and other abusive situations. She recently helped rescue Clyde the goat from a National Future Farmers of America program. She's a total hero for animals—she has given a TEDx Talk and traveled the country giving speeches in order to inspire activism for animal liberation. She leads protests against the slaughterhouse on Cal Poly's campus, which have included a march at the school. She was also arrested after she chained herself to a gate at the school to prevent a trailer from bringing a cow to the slaughter line—she saved the animal from being killed that day.

Shi LaChef

Shi LaChef is a 13-year-old who is passionate about helping children enjoy food that's good for them and tastes great. She holds workshops and seminars for kids in order to promote healthy eating and positive thinking and has published a cookbook of vegan recipes. And she spreads the message even further by conducting cooking demonstrations on news programs.

Ayesha Khanna

Ayesha Khanna has proved to be a powerhouse at spreading animal rights information on her campus. She orchestrated a cruelty-free cosmetics expo for over 200 students after receiving donations from dozens of companies and a workshop on navigating the dining hall as a vegan. Her student organization was at her university's multiday Clubs Week, which was so successful that the group was highlighted in the student newspaper! She also got several vegan options added to the school grocery store's menu. She isn't afraid to tackle issues related to vegan eating, such as feminism and environmentalism, and makes an effort to inform her club members and other peers that these topics are all related.

Emily Sarasa

Although peta2 campus reps are required to host eight vegan outreach events a semester, Emily Sarasa will complete 20 this fall! She has hosted vegan food giveaways, virtual reality experiences, a cruelty-free cosmetics giveaway, film screenings of popular vegan documentaries like Dominion, and events covering topics such as vegan fitness and the importance of adopting companion animals. She and her student organization have been working hard to prevent a circus that visits their campus every year from coming in the future. She is also working on an initiative to get more vegan options in the dining hall.
